We were staying around the corner and desperately in need of lunch that I didn't have to cook. But since we were both working, going out wasn't very viable so I called M&M to order some take-out. The lady who answered the phone definitely wasn't thrilled about her day; she was professional enough, just not very friendly. However, when I went to pick the sandwiches up, the girl working the counter was much more bubbly and social. The sandwiches themselves were very good, not worth making a special trip to town for but worth ordering again when in the area. Pricing, like everything in semi-rural Wisconsin, was very reasonable (of course, I have yet to find someplace that feels overpriced in the entire state). I could see how the view of the river would be nice when you want a leisurely lunch, but I can't speak to service as a dine-in patron.

Would not recommend this place for lunch, or any other meal. The service was friendly and efficient, but the food was gross. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The burger was so greasy it couldn't even stay in the bun, the lettuce that I paid extra for, was not fresh. The bacon was so chewy I couldn't eat it. All in all, not a very good meal.

The last time I ate here I told the waitstaff that my corned beef hash tasted rancid. They told me I was crazy. Didn't offer to get me something different and then went into the kitchen and told the chef I was crazy. I saw him throw out the hash bin...whose crazy now.

If you want grease, this is your place to go. Eggs will slide right off the plate. Food is nothing special. Nice location, near the river. Malts are good. Great place if your hungover. The waitress we had you have to speak up for, but very nice. Be SPECIFIC as to what your ordering or they'll mess it up.

What a wonderful gem of a diner. Perched in the water with great views of some boat traffic. Cozy booths. Large menu of home cooking. Kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes and husband loved the skillet of the day. The waitress was cheerful and upbeat. Definitely recommend!

It was nothing special. The older waitress was very sweet and personable. The menu was weird as half was designated for senior citizens. I wasn't clear if I could order it too or not. They had a lunch special menu buried in other small menus on the table that I only noticed after I ordered. We had sandwiches, and they tasted okay. My wife had a Ruben, and was disappointed that it had like a half teaspoon of kraut on it. She'd recommend asking for extra if you want a Ruben. My turkey club was okay, nothing special. My sons grilled cheese was the typical fare.

Best bang for your buck. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I leave this place very satisfied every time I eat there and most of the wait staff are friendly and cordial.

Stopped by last sun. I had the chicken dinner- the roll was stale, the chicken pieces were 2/3 the size of normal chicken (can anyone say seagull) the chicken was tasteless and overcooked. Nice service, nice view of the river but crap food

Meh. Service is good but the food is generally pretty bland and greasy. My hash browns tasted like they were cooked with really bad, really old oil. This place is a "last resort" place for us on Sunday mornings when we want to eat out for breakfast and everywhere else is too packed.

I always stop here on my drive up to Door Co WI. Simple little lunch spot with a huge menu and great prices. Staff is always friendly! In the winter, it is a little cold in the place and they could upgrade the bathrooms, but the food is still great!! Stop by for a great local bite to eat!
